The Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office is committedto working with immigration advocates.. Our immigration unit can assist legal service providers assess the potential adverse immigration consequences of prior conviction(s) and evaluate if post-conviction relief will help individuals to qualify for Deferred Action for Early Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Naturalization, and/or other forms of immigration benefits.  You may contact Paralegal Jessica Lopez for additional information or submit the intake form electronically.
