The attorneys and staff of the Los Angeles County Public Defenderís Office strongly believe that it is very important to voluntarily contribute our time and effort beyond regular work hours to engage in community outreach efforts.
Every year, members of our Office devote countless volunteer hours to various non-profit charitable organizations and participate in special events in the Los Angeles community that enrich the lives of its residents, including children and families.† Community outreach included, but was not limited to, volunteer and collaboration efforts in the following areas:
Hosting foreign delegations from Ireland, Kazakhstan and Iraq to discuss juvenile justice systems in the United States and the guest countries.
